Are Coupon Playing Cards?
1) Coupon Playing Cards are the original community based promotional playing cards that are used as a fundraising program for your local chamber of commerce or other business promoting group. 2) Coupon Playing Cards are designed to promote business and community spirit along with adding sense of pride in our local towns and cities. Each of our card back designs on our decks are designed with the community in mind. We try to capture something special about each community and present folksy art that adds to the spirit of that particular community. Often times we try to incorporate a local school, famous business or other landmark into the deck to make it uniquely your community. The card face (which is normally where the numbered and court cards are) is where you put your ad. Each participating business or organization gets a custom ad put on the card they have chosen along with a batch of the cards to be able to sell, hand out or do with as they please.
While most of the Coupon Playing
Cards are given out or sold by the advertising businesses within
the deck, some of the decks are kept by your local chamber as a
means to help promote you.
After realizing the popularity of
playing cards and seeing how successful it was to advertise on
them, Newt's decided to create something that was not only
unique, but that would help promote the local community.
Born out of this dream was Coupon Playing Cards which offered a
unique way for small businesses to be able to market their
business on something that folks would keep longer than an ad in
the newspaper or a radio spot. Although we are not against
these advertising venues, we wanted something that people would
not only keep, but the local community would keep as part of
their history. We wanted to create something that would
"go down in history" for each community while helping a local
non-profit organization like your chamber of commerce. We print each of our Coupon Playing Card decks on high quality plastic coated, playing card stock (280-300gsm) that will have a long life. We also enclose each deck in its own, full color, custom tuck box that adds to the value of the deck. To add to the usability of our Coupon Playing Cards they have a linen finish.
